Stardome Diary

Note, the planetarium is not openly available. We are keeping visits to local schools and schools of UoM colleagues. If a school wishes to book us, the current cost per day is 250 gbp. The accompanying demonstrator can waive this fee if they are happy to do the shows for free and have a way of getting the planetarium to the school. 2007 BOOKINGS

Note: We also have our events programme for the summer (based around 50th anniversary) for which we hope to have some money from PPARC to help fund - won't know about the latter till mid-March though. However even if we don't get their money we will be doing something. If people are interested perhaps we should have a meeting at which we can present the plans so far and give an opportunity for inputs/suggestions.

Sat 12th May - Plan. show plus other, At Jodrell, Yr 2-4 Gifted and talented 10-1. (volunteer required and can be paid).

Tuesday 1st May - Goostrey Cubs, 7-8pm, 6.30 arrival, Goostrey Methodist Church Hall. For Marion Wallace. Stuart. Fee: 25 quid to Stuart.

Monday 30th April - Group of Brownies coming to Jodrell for planetarium - Megan, no fee.

Thursday 19th April - St Peter and St Paul RC Primary School, Pilkington Street, Bolton, BL3 6AP. Chris Fee: 250

Wednesday 21st March - Visit from National University of Ireland Maynooth, using 7-metre, volunteer welcome (can be paid).

Saturday 17th March - Shows at Jodrell for Yr 2-4 gifted and talented cohort, 10-1. Tim and Chris.

Thursday 15th March - Falinge Park High Sch., Rochdale. Tim + a volunteer?

Saturday 10th March - Manchester Museum. Volunteers welcome!
